This is the official site for the Washington-Lee High School rowing program started by Charlie Butt in 1949. The school is located in Arlington, VA and we row out of Potomac Boat Club in Washington, DC.
Occoquan Race Course to be named after team founder Charlie Butt

The schedule for Saturday's VASRA Championships has been posted.
During the break in racing from Heats to Finals currently scheduled from 10:54am
to 11:50 VASRA and the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority will be naming
the newly installed race course at the Occoquan after our team founder Charlie
Butt. This is a fitting tribute on the year celebrating the 60th Anniversary
of Washington-Lee Crew. The ceremony will include highlights of Charlie's
career and history of building not only W-L Crew but rowing throughout the
east coach on the scholastic, club and university levels.
